We Need Your Support To Give These Women a Fighting Chance

Every year, countless women walk into the doctor office not knowing that this will be one of the most important moments of their life…

This is the day that they are about to be told that they have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

The fear, panic, and dread quickly sets in as they realize that the next few years of their life will without a doubt be one of the most difficult challenges they will ever have to face as they begin the life or death struggle against a cancer that 52% of women will not survive past the first 5 years.

And before she even has a chance to process all that information, she is put into one of two positions:

She is either worrying about having to tell her husband and kids that she has been diagnosed with cancer, or she is  left fearing that she may never be able to have a family at all.

And despite ovarian cancer being over 5 times more deadly than breast cancer…

The sad truth is that it is hardly known outside of those who are directly affected by this tragic yet common condition

Those who get it are forced to deal with the massive burdens of intense physical pain, months of surgeries, and the stress of knowing that it may cause infertility preventing them from ever having a family of their own.

And that’s just the start of their problems…

In fact, one of the hardest challenges they have to face is the financial burden that is placed on them and their families…

Expensive surgeries can quickly drain their savings making it a constant struggle to make ends meet and even put food on the table.

In their time of need, many of these women are left feeling overwhelmed and lost.

Luckily they’re not alone

At GC Survivor we have dedicated our lives to helping these powerful women emerge victorious in their fight against cancer.

On her 51st birthday, our founder Sue Sigmon-Nosach was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and was told that she had just 1 year to live… that was over 13 years ago.

After that life changing experience, Sue knew that she couldn’t just sit by and watch while more women suffered in silence.

That experience left her with not only the drive to make a difference, but more importantly, the knowledge that she needed to make it happen.

“I didn’t expect to get so much help from GC Survivor, both the substantial financial gift and the personal guidance made a world of difference for me and my family” – Whitney, Ovarian Cancer Survivor

Through personal experience, we believe the best way to help is by directly giving the resources to those in need because we understand that every situation is different, and they know better than us what would make the biggest difference in their lives.

That’s why we are proud to say that 85% of every dollar we bring in goes directly into the hands of women who are physically, financially, and emotionally stressed,

while the other 15% goes toward being able to provide the life saving guidance and counseling that is desperately needed.

We have been there when all hope felt lost, and that’s why we will stop at nothing to ensure that no other woman will ever have to face this on their own.

But we can’t do it alone…

Without the support of donors just like you, we would not be able to provide the funds that these innocent women need to keep on fighting,

Because the last thing that they need while they are battling cancer is the fear that they will have to go hungry or not have the money to provide basic necessities for themselves and their families.

Since we started in 2013, we have already been able to help 1221 women…

And with your support we plan on helping thousands more!

And it doesn’t take a lot to make a massive difference.

In fact, for every $1200 we raise, we are able to support a woman for an entire year both financially and emotionally as we guide her through the journey to recovery.

Your tax deductible donation of $25, $50, $100, $300, $600, $1200 or anything you can give will make a world of difference in the lives of these women.

So please, be the light of hope in their time of darkness

And if you only donate once a month, think of us next time.
